Geordie Theatre to host interactive play for babies
Geordie Theatre is producing Quebec’s first-ever play for babies, providing parents with a unique opportunity to bond with their young ones.
One Thing Leads to Another encourages infants aged 3 to 24 months old to interact with everyday objects, such as spoons or balls, in new and innovative ways. The play starts with a 30-minute presentation that introduces the objects through musical and visual stimulation and is followed by another 30 minutes of free playtime, where parents will get to join the fun.
While the play is designed for infants, older children are welcome. You can catch a performance at the Monument-National Theatre from Jan. 30 to Feb. 3 at various times. Tickets cost $22.43 for adults and is free for children under 17.
The theatre is located at 1182 St. Laurent Blvd., in the heart of Montreal’s Quartier des Spectacles. There will be comfortable floor seating for all, a changing area in the dressing rooms and a parking lot for strollers inside the theatre.
