Montreal Families

Free conference about work-life balance

Ever feel overwhelmed trying to juggle work, home, and family obligations? If so, you aren’t alone. Studies show 58 per cent of Canadians say they are overloaded due to the pressure of work, home, family, physical health and volunteering activities.

On June 11, the Town of Mount Royal Reginald J.P. Dawson Library will be hosting a conference on work-life balance featuring Dr. Nadia Gagnier (pictured right). The conference aims to help parents learn to better manage their time, so they can focus on what matters most.

It will also guide parents on how to make choices based on priorities, and how to reduce stress and anxiety. Another key part of the conference is how to develop your child’s autonomy.

The event will be held at 7 p.m. at the Reginald J. P. Dawson Library, 1967 Graham Blvd., T.M.R.  Registration is free and can be done at the library’s youth counter, or by calling 514-734-2973.
