Let the sirens sound: the annual Laval Firefighter Festival is back on May 31 and June 1-2.
Families can check out the vintage fire truck show, enjoy musical performances by blues singer, Brian Tyler, and watch Fredo the Magician perform his tricks. There will be other activities for kids such as face painting and inflatable games.
The festival raises awareness about fire prevention and safety, so visitors can also watch a demonstration of firefighters hard at work trying to free victims from a vehicle.
On June 2, there is a 2, 5 or 10 kilometre walk to raise money for burn victims (payment and registration is required for this event). All other activities are free.
The event takes place e at Centropolis Laval, 1799 Pierre-Péladeau Ave.
