Family-friendly activities all summer in Mile End

The third annual edition of Marché des Possibles will feature a garage sale, live music and much more

Inspired by the community of Plateau Mont-Royal and with the help of the festival POP Montreal, the Marché des Possibles festival was created in 2014 to show Mile End’s creative, community spirit. The third edition will take place in the park next to St. Louis Arena and includes live music, workshops, yoga, a beer garden, a craft fair with local artisanal creations, food trucks on Fridays, walking tours, and much more.

Families and kids can enjoy a variety of free activities, including kids’ yoga, an African circus and dance workshop, a bubble dance party, music classes, storytelling, foosball, and a treasure hunt. If you are looking to jump into action, a trampoline workshop will be offered for kids 8 and up, accompanied by a parent.

One of the largest events is a community garage sale on June 24 from noon to 4 p.m. Tents and tables will be provided at a cost of $10. Food trucks will be on location as well as music and activities to celebrate St. Jean Baptiste Day.

Marché des Possibles will take place at 5635 St. Dominique St., every weekend (including Fridays) from June 17 to Aug. 7. It is free and open to everyone, with a cost for some food and drinks.
