Would you like to help a good cause while having a whole load of fun? If so, your family might want to attend a fundraiser in Laval on June 3, 2012 with all the proceeds going to the Montreal’s Children Hospital. Organized by Bill and Sheyda Karidogiannis, the event is a tribute to their 2-year-old daughter Alesia who died suddenly of a rare heart condition.
This indoor family fair has activities for kids of all ages, including arts & crafts, inflatable games, cupcake decorating and an appearance by the Disney Princesses and Spider Man. There will also be entertainment, live reptile shows and performances by DJ Kid Koala. Don’t forget your pocket change for raffle tickets and specialty foods available for purchase.
The event runs from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at The Embassy Plaza located at 1003 Curé-Labelle Blvd., in Laval. Tickets are $15 per person and can be purchased at the door or online at www.alesiasmagnolias.com. The cost includes a boxed lunch, access to performances and a gift bag. All proceeds go to the Alesia Stavroula Karidogiannis tribute fund. Last year, the event raised almost $60,000.
