After 25 years, the Parents and Kids Fair is still going strong. The annual event returns to Place Bonaventure April 6 to 9 to showcase products, services and information related to pregnancy, infancy and early childhood.
In addition to browsing the exhibitor booths, visitors can watch fashion shows, live performances and presentations for parents, including a daily talk at 1:30 p.m. by family psychologist Dr. Nadia Gagnier aimed at helping parents prepare for the arrival of their first baby.
Activities for kids will include bouncy castles, a sandbox and face painting. On Saturday, April 8 there will also be a special “pyjama party” event from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. with entertainment, prizes and photos.
A changing room and feeding area will be available for parents with babies or toddlers. The fair is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday. Admission is $14 for adults, $11 for seniors and students, and free for children under 12.
