On March 24, 2019, several former baseball and hockey players will be auctioning off autographed memorabilia and photographs to benefit the Montreal Children’s Hospital Foundation during the third edition of Expos Fest. 

Attendees will get the chance to mingle with former players like Brad Wilkerson, Oil Can Boyd, Coco Laboy, Mike Fitzgerald, Tim Burke, Steve Renko, Shayne Corson (of the Montreal Canadiens) and General Hospital star William Devry and purchase signed items like baseballs, jerseys and bats.

Proceeds will go towards the Kat D DIPG Fund to help find a cure for Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG), a type of aggressive and inoperable brain tumour. To date, more than $400,000 has been raised. The event is held in memory of Catherine Demes (pictured right), a 5-year-old girl who passed away from DIPG in 2015.

La Voix‘s Rosa Laricchiuta will perform live during the event.

Tickets cost $150 (guests will receive a $100 tax receipt) and gives you entry to the autograph session, taking place from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., as well as a four-course meal.
