Description

New winter activities in Westmount
The refrigerated skating rink and the toboggan run at King George Park are now open to the public. Skating - available for general skating only (no hockey or shinny), the rink is beautifully illuminated for a magical outdoor experience. Due to COVID-19 regulations, a maximum of 20 skaters are allowed on the ice at a time, and the city urges visitors to follow the recommended preventive health measures: keep a 2-metre distance from other skaters, wash your hands, and wear a face covering. Tobogganing -  zip down the hill on the city’s new dedicated toboggan runs on Murray Hill. Machines from SNÖ Innovation started pumping out fluffy white snow on December 14, and need a couple of days to create a good base.
