Shakespeare in the Park: All Shall Be Well (Dorval)

July 14 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Free

Bring your chair and enjoy an outdoor theatre performance.

In the event of poor weather or extreme heat, the show will be presented indoors at the Serge Nolet Auditorium (1301 Dawson Avenue).

About the Show:

Locked down by a plague in London, Shakespeare writes King Lear… Over 400 years later, actors living through COVID-19 hear of this feat and decide to perform a compilation of Shakespeare’s plague-related scenes. There’s one catch: Master Shakespeare didn’t write about the plague – or so it seems.

This playful show poignantly samples some of Shakespeare’s most beloved plays, songs, and sonnets. The hunt begins! Let’s find traces of the plague in the bard’s work, reflecting on our own lives along the way.
