La TOHU is proud to present the first edition of Les Lumières de Saint-Michel, in collaboration with the Fonds de solidarité FTQ. This event will bring together the population and partners of Saint-Michel to create luminous lanterns that will then be carried through the neighbourhood and Frédéric-Back Park in a large nocturnal parade that will end on TOHU’s public square.
Lantern Workshops
To make the parade as bright as possible, we must first create beautiful lanterns! The theme for this first edition: the world of insects. The workshops will take place over 8 weeks . When you make your reservation, you will be able to choose among these three models of lanterns for the parade. At the end of the workshop, the lanterns will be stored by TOHU and you will be invited to come and pick them up on June 17 to participate in the parade.
Festival & Parade
From June 16-18, there will be many free activities for families to enjoy … musical performances, circus entertainment, and the night-time parade.
