Empty Bowls Fundraising Event

This April 2023, Corbeille de pain (CDP) will be hosting its annual Empty Bowls fundraising event, both online and in person.
Starting on April 12th and ending on April 26th, the online portion of the fundraiser will take place on the CDP’s website www.corbeilledepain.com. On April 29th (rain date: May 6th) from 11AM to 3PM, the in-person event will be held in the parking lot of the St. Columba by-the-Lake Church (11 Ave.Rodney, Pointe-Claire).
Empty Bowls is an international grassroots movement by artists and craftspeople to raise money for food related charities to care for and feed the hungry in their communities.
This fundraiser, in collaboration with local potters, will benefit the CDP programs that serve West Island Community members experiencing food insecurity. Each bowl can be purchased for $25 which comes with a delicious soup, either to take away frozen or to enjoy on site while listening to live music.
