Circus Theatre: Hiatus (Rosemont-La Petit-Patrie)

Hiatus highlights those suspended moments where nothing happens. Addressing the concepts of territories, spaces and partitions, the play space is circumscribed by a wooden palisade and a mesh fence. Slammed at this court, two acolytes like to build and deconstruct sculptures, weaving, places and paths, with the wooden blocks and clothes at their fingertips. Through the window, the musician neighbor accompanies without her knowledge the meanders of their creations and their relationship.
