Art for Moms at The Refugee Centre

The Refugee Centre will be facilitating a free Art for Moms group for all mothers. The Art for Moms consists of a series of 10 free art therapy workshops.

Every week we will engage in a new art medium and creative activity, as well as explore themes related to motherhood, identity, compassion, self-worth, and self-care. Especially when words are not enough, colors, painting, drawing, and storytelling can help us express our feelings, thoughts, and personal needs. This group will be a welcoming, non-judgmental, safe, and confidential space for all mothers!

Attendees will be provided all art materials. There is no artistic experience or talent needed to enjoy the benefits of art therapy and creativity. Join us to explore art as a tool for your personal well-being and to learn about new maternal resources and services in our community.
