From March 3 to 11, 2012, Jeunesses Musicales Canada (JMC), a nonprofit organization promoting classical music, is offering more than 70 concerts and workshops for children ages 3-12. The events, most of which are in French, take place at both the JMC's centre on the Plateau as well as at libraries and cultural centres across Montreal. Ticket costs vary, but generally are between $5 and $8.

This year, there is one event in English, a show called The Great Rhythmobile Adventure, held on March 7 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Pierrefonds East Community Centre. It's appropriate for kids ages 6-12. To reserve a ticket, call (514) 624-1100.
