Concordia University is opening its sports dome to children on Sundays, starting November 27, 2011, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
The dome, usually used for sports practice and events, will be transformed into a play space for children ages 10 and under, with games and sports-themed activities. Cost is $10 per child (free for parents). However, the opening event on Sunday November 27, is free and will feature giant inflatables and an appearance by the Concordia Stingers' mascot Buzz. The dome will then welcome kids December 4, 11 and 18. It may also be open for several days over the holidays but details have yet to be finalized.
