Climb aboard 18th century replica ships

These ships at the Old Port offer an array of activities including high-flying aerial courses and climbing walls

If your child likes being active and is interested in pirate ships, your family might want to check out Voiles en Voiles. It consists of two 18th-century replica ships  perched along the St. Lawrence River that have an array of high-flying aerial courses, challenging climbing walls as well as a playground with several inflatables. Due to weather conditions, it opened later this year on April 19, 2019.

Visitors will be able to visit the ships, hang onto one of the seven aerial adventure courses that range from 1 to 10 metres high, climb up a wall of the ship, or run through (and slide down) inflatables, which are part of a separate playground. It  also features a carousel and picnic tables. In addition, there will be suspended ladders, small ziplines, hanging nets, bridges, ropes, and a big slide from the decks of the boats. For the 2018 season, the site will have new inflatables, including one with water.

The attraction is open holidays and weekends until Victoria Day. From Victoria Day to Labour Day, it is open daily and then weekends and holidays from Labour Day until October 13, 2019. Voiles en Voiles can accommodate birthday parties with eight children (they give a surprise gift for the birthday girl or boy with smaller gifts for their friends).

The only thing left for kids to decide is whether they will be a Captain of the Royal Guard or an evil pirate. Prices vary depending on the activity.
