At Ouimet Farms Adventure, visitors of all ages can spend a day in the country experiencing an array of farm-tastic fun. The whole family can wander the seven-acre corn maze hunting for hidden mailboxes in a challenging treasure hunt in this season’s Disney-themed design. If you’re bringing along the little ones, the trail is stroller- and wheelchair-friendly. The maze can be done in three different ways, so see how well you do.

Other activities that you can enjoy throughout the grounds include a visit to the farm’s museum to see antiques, a soft-serve ice cream booth, and a fun zone with a variety of games. Take part in a pedal kart race, climb the rock wall, cheer on your rubber ducky in a race, mine for gems, or see how high you can bounce on the giant jumping pillow. And bring your picnics because there are tables where you can relax and fuel up for more playing.

Diane Matichak visited recently with her niece Chloe and found the farm to be a great place for both children and adults. “Be prepared to spend a half-day, if not the entire day at Ouimet Farms because there are many activities aside from the corn maze,” Matichak said. “It’s well worth the price of admission. My niece Chloe even dragged me on the air bounce, which might not have been a good idea after eating a BeaverTail.”

The farm is open weekends until October 24, 2021, and pumpkin picking will be available by the end of September. The Beavertails truck will also be back for some tasty treats during the fall. For up-to-date event details visit the farm’s Facebook page at

Admission is $17 per person or $60 for a family of four. It is free for children under 3. No reservations are required. For the maze adventure, the farm recommends bringing plenty of water, sunscreen, comfortable clothes and footwear.

And while you’re in the pretty town of Vankleek Hill, why not check out Beau’s Beer, the Saturday morning farmers’ market, have a bite to eat at Vert Fourchette, or head north to the public beach in L’Orignal?
