After 74 years of operation, Camp Pripstein will not be welcoming kids this summer. “With our early registration promotional period completed, our camper numbers are lower than targeted,” said Ronnie Braverman, owner of the co-ed, sleep away summer camp in the Laurentians. “Not only does this have financial implications for us, but we would be unable to ensure a great experience for campers without healthy group sizes. Therefore, after much discussion, my family and I have regretfully decided to call it a day and close the camp.”
Braverman said that the owners of Camp Walden have made a commitment to reserve spaces for the families who have already registered for Camp Pripstein.
