Bromont water park revamps children’s play areas

After a $1 million investment, Bromont Water Park has unveiled several newly renovated family-friendly attractions for the summer season.

Officially opening June 8, the park will now include two tropical-inspired play areas reserved exclusively for children under the age of 6. In the 4,500 square-foot zone dubbed ‘Island of Adventurers,’ there will be climbing structures, water jets as well as animators leading activities. In the new ‘Treasure Island’ section, kids can splash around in the wading pool or make their way down a brightly-coloured mini slide.

For an additional $99, families will be able to enjoy their time in a private setting with the introduction of new cabanas near the kids’ zones. Six people can relax in the shaded area equipped with a mini fridge, lawn chairs and lockers. A food truck will also be on site serving up gourmet hot dogs, sausages and poutine.

The water park, which has been open for more than 30 years, has 25 aquatic activities including 13 slides, four heated pools, a wave pool and raft rides. Although the park is open to all ages, certain attractions have height requirements as a safety precaution.

With the purchase of a season pass, visitors can also go to Parc Safari for an extra $15.
