The Blue Metropolis Children’s Festival will be back in Montreal for a sixth edition.
From April 22 to 28, 2013, the festival will offer a program that includes meet-and-greet and other activities with close to 60 authors, illustrators, storytellers and musicians, in more than 50 libraries and other venues around town.
Among the activities will be a writing workshop with author Lori Weber to learn how to make characters come to life through language and storytelling, as well as a workshop on animals and a carnival with Marianne Dubuc, author of Le carnaval des animaux. Other activities offered in English and French will include musical performances and learning about the creative process. Most of the activities are free.
