Kids ages 3 to 12 can celebrate their birthday by creating a special look-alike doll thanks to a new party service called Make a Mini Me. A bilingual animator comes to the house and spends an hour helping participants make the dolls, which are 15 inches high and feature a voice recorder inside (so the doll can speak in the child’s voice). Children get to choose the doll’s clothes, hair colour, and even add freckles or glasses.

Cost is $25 per child with a minimum charge of $200 if there are fewer than eight children.
