Garderie Bébé Sucré, a new daycare that opened in N.D.G. in November has a pre-scholastic program focusing on getting children aged 18 months to 5 years old ready for school.

Math and science are introduced at an early age through concepts like wooden puzzles, counting games, and science experiments, as well as preparing for school tests. Manager Anna Boroujerdi says they use some of the aspects of the Montessori program such as allowing children to choose certain activities.

The daycare also offers tutoring, a large smart board, an on-call nurse, baby yoga and Zumba sessions, as well as evening and weekend services. After-school programs and tutoring is available for children up to age 12.

It has space for 45 children and is located at 6332 Sherbrooke St. W., N.D.G.
