Soutien Autism(e) Support, a non-profit organization that provides services to children with autism, is organizing a 5-kilometre race (and 3-kilometre walk) on Sunday April 29, 2012 at the Champlain Park in Candiac on the South Shore. The money raised will support activities for children with autism, including music therapy, swim classes and play groups. The race and walk begin at 9 a.m and there is a special one-kilometre race for kids beginning at 10:30 a.m.

Cost is $15 per participant if you register before March 29 or $20 after that date. There is no charge for participating in the children's race. Registration takes place online at http://www.events.runningroom.com .
