Verger Labonté and Fous de Nature have partnered to offer a camp for kids between 4-12, with the aim of nurturing compassion towards the environment and each other.

With more than 2,000 apple trees, pumpkin fields, a cornfield labyrinth, obstacles in the forest, gardens, farm animals, and playgrounds —Verger Labonté in Notre-Dame-de-l’Île-Perrot has the facilities to immerse children in nature.

Campers will have hands-on experience with the fauna and flora of the orchard, and discover the fascinating world of horticulture and apple growing. They’ll be introduced to different crop cycles, learn about various insects, biodiversity, meet the menagerie of farm animals, and gain an understanding of the land and the importance of respecting it. There will also be activities that initiate teamwork, dialogue, and openness to others.
