Children and their parents can learn strategies and techniques to combat bullying at a workshop on March 27, 2012 from 6:30 p.m to 8 p.m. The program, called Don't Bully Me, is run by George Manoli, a Montreal police officer. Children ages 6-10 will discuss and role play ways they can confront bullies and avoid being victims. Parents are welcome to attend (at no charge) and observe their children. The workshop takes place at the Aquatic and Community Centre, 5794 Parkhaven Ave., Cote St. Luc. Cost is $40 for residents or $50 for non-residents. The deadline to register is Friday, March 23.
