SUMMER FINE ARTS CAMP

This is a camp with a difference, offering children and teens a creative learning experience in the visual arts (painting, sculpture, pottery, photography, film animation), performing arts (theatre, music, Hip Hop dance) and outdoor games and activities. On Fridays children participate in an exciting variety of special morning workshops offered by our talented staff.

The camp uses the Dollard Civic Centres’ air-conditioned facilities including the Art Studios, the dark room, two pools, special activity rooms and spacious grounds. The program’s emphasis is on stimulating the child’s imagination and creativity in a fun, relaxed atmosphere, under the guidance of specially trained adult instructors. Teens 13 and 14 years old will be able to participate in a new program where they will learn leadership skills and complete First Aid and Babysitting courses, as well as learn how to work with children (registration required). Teens ages 15+ become part of the Junior Staff, where they will receive volunteer hours for helping the staff in their daily activities and tasks (application required).

At the end of the summer, all campers and their families are welcomed back for a night to see all the art projects and a show put together by the staff and campers of Session 4.
