Pointe-Claire will host a group of six sheep as part of an eco-grazing project.
The sheep will be housed in a temporary enclosure and will spend their days grazing on grass, to help maintain the park in a completely natural manner.
A wide variety of educational and recreational activities with the sheep are planned throughout the summer - check website for more details.
Come watch them and pet them. Feed can be purchased every Saturday for $0.25.
A shepherd will be at the park at all times to watch over the flock.
Weekdays from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Weekends from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
In case of rain, storms, and heat waves, the sheep will be placed in a shelter and will therefore not be in the park, and activities will take place at the Noël-Legault Community Centre, located at 245 Du Bord-du-Lac–Lakeshore Road.
