PrintNew pre- and post-natal courses
Belles Mamans, a company dedicated to supporting pregnant women and new mothers, will now be offering courses in various boroughs starting in September. Owner Jennifer Dubee-Houston has closed her centre in Pointe Claire but will continue offering classes in N.D.G., Vaudreuil, Laval, and the West Island.
There will be courses in childbirth preparation, CPR for infants and toddlers, a child development class for infants, and a sensory exploration class for 1-2 year olds. Dubee-Houston says her goal is to help women get the support they need during the pre- and post-natal period. “A lot of women feel isolated when their baby is first born,” she says. “It’s so important to be with other moms, and we provide that opportunity.”
