Expo showcases products for new parents
The Mom2Be expo is a free event and will be held on Oct. 30
From childproofing the home and shopping for baby clothes to choosing the best diapers and scheduling appointments, expectant moms and dads have a lot to think about before their little bundle of joy arrives.
On Oct. 30, Mom2Be will be hosting an expo where parents can get information about babies’ health, the environment as well as various services available in Montreal. Dozens of local exhibitors include La Crème de la Prem, a support centre for babies born prematurely, and Arbonne, a company that sells eco-conscious beauty and nutrition products.
There will also be face painting and colouring for kids, and a rest area where parents can buy healthy snacks. Visitors will also have the chance to win products donated by exhibitors in a raffle — money will be given to the Montreal Children’s Neonatal Unit.
The show is being held at Ruby Foo’s Hotel, 7655 Decarie Blvd., from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event is free, but you must register in advance.
