Fundraising walk for the Friendship Circle

The Friendship Circle has been pairing teenagers with special needs children for more than a decade in an effort to forge friendships and enrich lives.

On Sunday, Oct. 28, 2012, the organization is holding a fundraising event called the Walk 4 Friendship. This event invites individuals and teams to participate in a 3 KM walk to raise money for this socially conscious organization. This year, the goal is to raise more than $500,000. There will be live entertainment, food, fun-filled activities and inflatable games.

The event takes place from noon until 4 p.m. at Hampstead Park, 30 Lyncroft Rd. in Hampstead.
