Santa Claus is coming to town
The annual parade helps kids get into the holiday spirit and takes place Saturday, Nov. 19
Before he checks his list to find out who has been naughty or nice, Saint Nick will be spreading Christmas cheer through the streets of downtown Montreal for the 66th annual Santa Claus Parade.
This event takes place Saturday, Nov. 19 at 11 a.m. and usually takes up to two hours to make its way from the starting point at Fort and Ste. Catherine Sts. to St. Urbain St. More than a dozen floats will feature musicians, dancers and costumed marchers for holiday-inspired sequences.
If you want to skip the hassle of searching for parking, opt for public transit. You can get to the parade from Atwater, Guy-Concordia, Peel, McGill, Places-des-Arts, Lucien-L’allier and Bonaventure metro stations.
