Baby show for new and expecting parents
Regroupement 1,2,3 Go! is hosting a free baby show featuring speakers as well as exhibitors that offer various products and services
For the first time, Regroupement 1,2,3 Go! and its partners will host a baby show on Friday, Oct. 28 in the West-Island for new and future parents.
Regroupement 1,2,3 Go! is an organization that provides resources and activities to ensure the well-being and overall development of children up to 5 years old and offers parental support to families in Pierrefonds, Roxboro, and D.D.O. The Baby Show will take place from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. More than 20 booths will be set up and exhibitors will give out information from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. There will be community organizations, daycares, libraries, perinatal health institutions, and more.
Some of the exhibitors include, Druide a company that offers parents natural organic hygiene products for babies; Cloverdale Multi-Ressources provides perinatal activities, preschool programs, and support for parents; and Born to Read encourages reading with young children through programs for parents and their kids.
The baby show will also feature two bilingual conferences. Retraite Québec will host a conference about child assistance from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., and Jessica Coll, a mother and registered dietician, will give a talk about baby-led weaning from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The event takes place at East Community Centre, 9665 Gouin Blvd. W., Pierrefonds. The first 100 guests receive a gift and will have their names entered in a raffle.
