Redpath museum offers science workshops

During March break week, there will be a different subject each day that is included in the price of admission



The Redpath Museum is offering a week of science-related workshops and activities during March Break.

The workshops will take place daily from March 5 to 9 at the museum’s Dawson Gallery from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Some of the topics covered by the educators will include learning about dinosaurs, volcanic rocks and eruptions, Canadian climate and wildlife, as well as mummies and hieroglyphics.

Workshops are free with an admission ticket to the museum and are open to all ages. No reservations are required. Other current exhibitions at the museum include Life on Earth, World Cultures, and Earthly Treasures.

The Redpath Museum is open Monday to Friday  from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday and is located at 859 Sherbrooke St. W.
