Family & foodie fun at Olympic Park

Several food trucks and fun activities for kids on offer this summer

Food trucks. Love them or hate them, we’ve got ‘em.  And the next obvious step for Montrealers is to celebrate their summer arrival by throwing a festival, of sorts. So, on the first Friday of every month from May to October, at the Olympic Park, over 44 food trucks will be selling their best cuisine. The choice is endless: burgers, lobster rolls, pierogis, donuts and much more. Beer and wine is also sold on-site.

There are 500 seats available on themed outdoor patios, and 3 000 seats spread out across the site. The festival also includes activities for everyone and live music.

Being held on warm and sunny late afternoons, many people come out to enjoy the event. Although it makes for a great atmosphere, the average lineup is about 30 minutes, so families with young children should think about going early to avoid queues.

This event takes place from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. at the Esplanade Financière Sun Life, located right next to Pie-IX metro.
