Store rents out camping equipment

If you’re interested in an outdoor adventure, but would rather not purchase all the equipment necessary for a one-time summer trip, Mountain Equipment Co-op has you covered.

You can rent a wide variety of equipment from the Montreal store, including tents, self-inflating sleeping pads, sleeping bags and baby carriers. For example, a two person tents costs $15 a day and adult sleeping bags $7 per day. You can also rent gear for cycling and water sports. People are encouraged to reserve equipment two weeks in advance by calling (514) 788-5878 or visiting the store located at Marché Central, 8989 l’Acadie Blvd., Montreal.
