With the days getting shorter and the sun setting earlier, the winter months in Montreal can feel dark and gloomy. From Nov. 30 until Jan. 28, 2018, Quartier des Spectacles will once again be transformed into a bright, interactive and free outdoor art gallery with the eighth annual instalment of Luminothérapie.
The year’s main attraction is Impulsion — a set of 30 different-sized seesaws at Place des Festivals that light up and produce different melodies when someone sits on either end. It is open to the public from Sunday to Wednesday noon to 10 p.m., and from Thursday to Saturday noon until 11 p.m. Food trucks will be on site.
