Carolyn Melmed is a founding member of the Lansdowne Centre, a school for children with learning difficulties.

She has 35 years of teaching experience, both in the classroom and on a one-to-one basis, is a certified mediator and has designed workshops for parents, teachers, support staff and managers.

CURRENT PARENTING WORKSHOPS:

- Increase Your Child's Positive Behaviours: For parents of young children. This workshop teaches parents and guardians of young children how to give praise effectively, set limits, inspire cooperation, communicate more effectively with their child and end whining tantrums and dawdling.

Ms. Melmed has recently released a new DVD, "Unleashing Your Child's Potential" to help children develop organization and study skills. This is a valuable resource for parents who want to work together with their children to optimize their learning potential and academic performance.
