Local “Tooth Fairy” will send a package to your child
A local entrepreneur has found a way to make losing teeth an exciting experience for kids
When her son lost his first tooth, Timea Kristof wanted to mark the occasion by doing something special. Taking on the whimsical persona of the Tooth Fairy, she left him a little package for when he woke up, including a personalized letter. After reading it, he was so excited by the prospect of hearing from the Tooth Fairy again that he couldn’t wait to lose another tooth.
Soon, family members began asking her to customize letters for their kids as well and, last October, Kristof officially began moonlighting as the Tooth Fairy. Now, through Message from the Tooth Fairy, parents can order personalized letters and packages for their little ones.
“Losing your first set of teeth is a huge milestone in a child’s life,” Kristof says. “Our personalized letters and packages not only make kids feel special and encourage them about this big event, but also trigger their imaginations.”
Parents can choose between four stationery templates featuring bright colours and cartoons for their personalized letter, which will include their name, city and a positive message of encouragement to mark the occasion. If they choose, parents can also include a message they wrote themselves.
Several packages are available, including the Tooth Fairy Coin package for $19.99, which includes the letter, a Tooth Fairy seal and a special coin. In addition to those items, other packages, like the Tooth Fairy Pillow package, include a personalized pillow, temporary tattoo, a small tooth-shaped toy, a wand and a signed card for $29.99.
For the moment, orders can only be placed online for a shipping address within Canada.
