Lachine-based camp offering new programming
Camp Ste. Anne has added two new art camps as well as one that focuses on finances and money management
Camp Ste. Anne in Lachine is adding a number of new programs to its summer roster including art, technology and business.
Kids aged 8 to 12 will be able to choose from two new art-focused programs.
In the Artistico program, campers will learn about photography, how to create ceramics and pottery, and will take on other artistic endeavours. In the Arts-Techno program, campers will get acquainted with digital production and use audio-visual tools to create videos and projections.
Along with the pre-existing Entrepreneurial Camp for 11- to 14-year-olds, there will also be a new Young Investors Club where campers can learn about the financial world and money management.
The camp continues to offer a myriad of options for kids of all ages. For kids 5 to 7, the Camp des Aventuriers has games, activities and outings according to themes like circus, safari or space. For kids 8 to 12, there are camps that focus on cooking, acrobatics, robotics, and science. Campers spend half the day on a specialized activity and then take part in a variety of games, sports, as well as field trips to La Ronde and water parks.
Camps are held on a weekly basis from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and fees range from $200 to $290. Morning and evening day care services are also available.
Camps will take place between June 25 and Aug. 17 and will be held at Collège Ste. Anne, 1250 St. Joseph Blvd.
